Beyonce and Drake are the latest artists to join the ranks of superstars, with the trio making headlines around the world for their hits such as “Famous” and “Formation.”
Both artists have had major international hit singles, but the success of “Formational” is being closely watched in Britain as the country gears up for the UK Independence Party’s (UKIP) general election on June 8.
Beyonce and Drake both broke out with hits in 2015, when the two were in the midst of a rivalry for the No. 1 spot in the Billboard Hot 100.
The trio were also the subject of a “Formulation” video, in which they shared some intimate moments with each other and shared a kiss.
The video was widely praised for the candidness of the relationship between the two artists, and it became a hit in the UK, earning the pair more fans in the U.S. as well as Canada and Australia.
In 2017, they were even nominated for an Academy Award for Best Song.
Both artists are scheduled to appear at the Brit Awards on Sunday.
The two artists were also nominated for a Best Pop Vocal Album Grammy award on Sunday, and Drake and Beyonce will also perform at the ceremony.
Drake and Beyonces hit “Forming,” from their debut album, is set to be released on June 16.
The new album features a collaboration between Drake and producer Rick Rubin, with “Formative” set to hit stores on June 17.
