Christian music is a relatively new genre to mainstream music, but the rise of Christian hip-hop has brought a surge of popularity to the genre.
From Drake to Ty Dolla $ign, Christian rappers have gained a following that is largely due to their distinctive, sometimes controversial and sometimes misogynistic lyrics and the Christian gospel they espouse.
So what is the genre and who are the artists who make it successful?
What do Christian rappers do to attract the interest of Christian fans?
Here are our picks for the biggest artists who are Christian hip hop stars.
Christian rappers, or rappers who follow a “Christian” philosophy of music, often sing about the life of Jesus Christ and his followers.
However, they are also able to embrace the more controversial elements of Christianity in their music.
A Christian rapper like Kendrick Lamar, for instance, has embraced the “Black Jesus” theme in his music, which is the theme of a film he made with producer Jay-Z called The Black Jesus.
But he also goes on to say, “If you go into my bedroom and you see Jesus, that’s the only way I’m going to talk to you.”
Christian rappers can also take a more humorous approach to their music, including a popular song called “Jesus Love” by Christian hip rapper Chance the Rapper.
Chance wrote the song while working at an ice cream truck, and it is considered the earliest Christian hip rap song.
However he later clarified his lyrics to clarify that he was using the “Jesus” theme as a reference to Jesus Christ.
He also explained that the song was inspired by his love of a pastor, and was intended to be a tribute to his father, who he believes is the true Christ.
As an example of Christian rappers who are outspoken in their views on Christianity, we look at the Christian rap group, Run The Jewels.
The group was formed in 2009 and has been around since 2011.
They have been known to have an outspoken, sometimes misogynist approach to Christianity.
For instance, Run the Jewels rapper Juelz Santana once said, “I don’t believe in the white race.
I believe in Jesus Christ.”
In 2012, Run THE JEWELS released a track called “Christian Love,” which was a response to the controversy surrounding the death of rapper Tupac Shakur.
Tupac’s death caused many Christians to question the nature of the white supremacy that is the foundation of hip-hip culture.
After his death, the group released “Jesus,” which featured the Christian lyrics, “Love is my weapon.”
Juelz posted the track on his Instagram account, writing that, “There are some things that I just don’t care about.
I’m tired of being told I’m not worthy to live.”
In an interview with Billboard, JuelZ said, “[Tupac] killed me and I’m still pissed.
I can’t handle that shit.
I hate it.”
He continued, “And I’m also pissed at people like Kanye West, and I want to see that white people don’t have power.
And I’m pissed at the world.
I don’t want to live in a world that has power.
I just want to be like Jesus.”
Christian rappers are also known to make statements about homosexuality, abortion, rape and euthanasia.
The latest controversy to break out in Christian hip hip-hoppers comes from Christian rapper Future, who recently stated on Twitter that he is not a member of any religious sect.
He went on to ask followers to pray for him and to pray that God will forgive him for his statements.
Future has been criticized by some for the statements he made on social media.
