A new video has been released of the episode 4, “The Walking Dark,” and while it’s still in the early stages of production, it appears to feature the titular zombie-killing character in a more serious mood.
The clip was released by The Walking Dead fan site TheWalkingDead.net on Friday.
“The first thing I wanted to do was make sure that the showrunners knew that this is what the episode is going to look like,” executive producer Scott M. Gimple said in the video.
“We wanted to make sure people knew what was going on.
So we’re getting it all shot.
We’re going to be making it big.
We want it to be bigger.”
The video was filmed with a 35mm lens and features actor and actress Mandy Moore (The Walking Ghost), whose character, “Tasha,” is one of the main characters of the fourth season.
She’s played by Natalie Dormer.
“When you get into the moment where they’re in the elevator talking about what they’re going through, and you get the big close-up, you get that big closeup,” Gimple added.
“It’s going to have a huge impact on the characters that we’re trying to tell this story.”
The fifth season of the AMC series has yet to air.
The video comes after a teaser for the season’s third episode, “Eternal Witness,” was released earlier this month.
“Empire” co-creator Scott Manchess said that the new footage will help “move the story forward.”
“I know that we are getting a lot more content on the way, and I know that it’s going be much bigger, much bigger than what we were able to do in the past season,” MancheSS told Entertainment Weekly.
“But it’s a big step.
It’s a huge step forward.
I know we’re going, ‘Wow.
We can do this again.’
We can make something like that.”
“Walking Dark” season 6 premieres Friday on AMC.
